Link Extractor Update: False Positive Fixes & Enhanced Batch Export
The Online Link Extractor Tool is an online utility designed to rapidly parse and extract all URLs from text and documents.

I recently rolled out an update to address minor false-positive extraction bugs. In earlier builds, processing code snippets or dense technical strings occasionally extracted unwanted pseudo-links.
Those parsing quirks have been resolved, delivering a clean, accurate, and seamless extraction experience.
Core Capabilities & Highlights
- Batch Extraction from Text & Documents: Quickly scan raw text, pasted documents, and Word
.docxfiles (including embedded hyperlinks). - One-Click Batch Copy: Copy all discovered URLs to your clipboard with a single click.
- Search & In-Table Filtering: Quickly filter and narrow down extracted links directly within the results view.
- Direct Navigation: Click on any extracted URL to open it immediately in a new tab.
- URL Decoding Toggle: Easily decode messy
%XXpercent-encoded URLs into clean, human-readable web addresses. - Rich Text & TXT Support: Paste rich formatted text or upload raw
.txtfiles directly. - Export to Excel: Export the entire list of extracted URLs into an organized
.xlsxspreadsheet. - Zero-Install & Cross-Platform: Fully compatible with desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile (iPhone, Android) browsers.
Before vs. After: Eliminating False Positives
Scenario 1: Code Snippets & Object Methods
- Input Text:
"JS data handling: data.replace('a', 'b')" - Before: Erroneously extracted
["data.re"]❌ (Truncated by.retop-level domain matching) - After: Extracted
[](Correct: zero false positives) ✔️
Scenario 2: Valid URLs & Bare Domains
- Input Text:
"Visit https://github.com/vuejs or check baidu.com" - Before: Extracted
["https://github.com/vuejs", "baidu.com"]✔️ - After: Extracted
["https://github.com/vuejs", "baidu.com"]✔️ - (Both full protocol links and bare domains retain 100% extraction accuracy without regression)
